Rental Policies & Booking Terms
We keep things straightforward. Here's exactly what you need to know before you book a Zoumirentals vehicle.
Age 21 or older
All renters must be at least 21 years old at the time of pickup. Government-issued photo ID required.
$200 refundable deposit
A $200 security deposit is collected at pickup and fully refunded after the vehicle is returned in its original condition.
1-week minimum rental
All rentals require a minimum 7-day commitment. Weekly rates start at $350. Extended rentals welcome — ask about discounts.
Valid license & insurance
A valid U.S. driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance are required for all rentals.
What we expect
- Return the car with the same fuel level it was given to you
- Treat the vehicle with care — no smoking, no pets without prior approval
- Notify us immediately of any incident, damage, or mechanical issue
- Drive only within the continental United States
Not allowed
- No subletting or transferring the rental to another driver not listed on the agreement
- No off-road, racing, or commercial rideshare use (Uber, Lyft, delivery)
- No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
- No exceeding posted speed limits or violating local traffic laws
Cancellation & Refund Policy
More than 72 hours before pickup: Full refund of any pre-payment, no questions asked.
Within 72 hours of pickup: Pre-payment may be applied as credit toward a future rental within 90 days.
Security deposit: Returned within 3-5 business days of vehicle return, assuming no damage, traffic violations, or excess fuel charges.
Late returns: Subject to a $50/day late fee. Contact us in advance if you need to extend.
